Work Plan

So after another crackpot week, I sat down at the weekend and evaluated my workload for work and decided to try and make a schedule so that I would concentrate on only a couple of things each day rather than try to do a bit of everything. Of course email checking, stat checking, facebooking and twitter would all be incorporated everyday.
Well it did not take long for it all to unravel...Monday needed to go to Gib food shopping for the dinner party, took all blinking morning, only just making it back in time to collect Missy from riding, then had to do a bit of chauffering the kids around, unpack, head off to the local supermarket to get the meat and a few other bits, come back tidy up, prepare the food, lay the table, welcome the hubby back and then I thought I had a few mins to jump in the shower and get changed as my hubby told me they were all coming 8.15pm. As I step out of the shower the doorbell goes!!! What to do am standing there dripping wet, missy is ignoring the bell, the dogs are going mad, thank god I had put them in their kennel, I quickly grab a skirt and top and start pulling them on as I am going down the stairs to finally greet my first four guests, two being my neighbours, who we have had problems in the past, but now my hubby thinks they are his best friends!!! The other couple are old friends so I knew they would not be fussed what I looked like, but where is my husband, the person who had orchestrated this whole evening??? Well he would still be in the village trying to sort out number one sons new sim card and phone, since he had managed to lose another one on a night out at the weekend!! Much more important...NOT!!
Anyway dinner party went well and most people had left by 11.30pm so I headed into the office to start my days work, needless to say I did not get much done, as the hubby kept interrupting me, asking for this to be done, that to be done!! You know how it is.
Day 2 turned out to be an equally washed out day for work, but the upshot of it was I got my dresses sorted for the Barmy, thanks Marlene for being there and keeping the men in hand.
Day 3 was better and today has been a good day for work, have got through a lot of the previous days stuff. Tomorrow morning is a washout again, spanish first thing, then back home to let the handyman in, then off to a meeting in the port, so the morning will vanish again, but at least I can work tomorrow evening in peace and quiet as the hubby and number 2 son are away in London, they are playing in a charity cricket match tomorrow in Huntingdon.
Sat is a busy day, have the hubby, number 2 son and their nan coming back and also need to go do another morrisons shop, as again are having people over for sunday lunch.
Have started swopping over to Spanish working hours, mornings - work, afternoons - siesta/chill, and evenings - work as it is just too hot in the afternoons to concentrate, today it was nearly 40!
Barmitzvah replies are coming in and so it is getting very exciting. 8 weeks tomorrow is the start of the festivities..OMG 8 weeks only, sugar better get the list of things needed out and start working my way through it.
Right better go, need to put the dogs to bed and lock up, catch you soon.
